Craig Culkin described his situation with his fitness business as “brutal.” He needed to increase sales, had high debt hanging over his head, and was unsure how to get his fitness business’s foundation correct.
He wanted to increase his knowledge of sales and marketing (especially web marketing), and about his ability to automate systems, so he didn’t have to do all the work himself. He wanted to move some of his clients to other trainers. Finally, he was hesitant to look at a spreadsheet. He says it was more of a mental block; he was “scared” of looking at the numbers.
“I didn’t want to run a seat-of-the-pants operation,” he said.
With NPE’s help, he increased his revenues 5x in 12 months, built a team of two full-time trainers and a part-time admin, reads his metrics regularly, is paying down his debt, and has started moving personal training clients onto his team.
